Michael originally joined Wellspring in 2011, where he worked actively in the consumer and services sectors on transactions such as OMNI Energy Services, Airswift and ChemAid.

From 2014-2016 Michael earned his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Following Stanford, Michael worked for two years at Elysium, the family office of Leon Black. As part of Elysium’s middle market private equity platform, Michael led transactions such as Huddle House, a family dining restaurant franchise, and Volotea, a low cost airline operating in western Europe. Michael returned to Wellspring in June 2018.

Michael began his career as an analyst at UBS in the Consumer Products & Retail group. He attended Yale University for his undergraduate, where he was magna cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Economics.
